Sri Lanka Air Force Station Colombo and BIA (Bandaranaike International Airport) won the Womens and mixed  Netball championships respectively.

The first round matches were held on 04th and 05th at the Rifle Green Grounds, SLAF Colombo and the finals were held at SLAF Base Katunayaka Indoor stadium on the 6th.

SLAF Colombo beat SLAF BIA 09-06 in the finals of the womens category. Airwomen Ramyalatha and Dulmini of Colombo were adjudged as the best shooter and  best player respectively.

In the mixed event BIA defeated  SLAF Colombo 10-05 to become champions. Air women Jayasooriya was adjudged  the best shooter whilst airman Perera was adjudged the best player. Both players were from SLAF BIA.

Director Ground Operation, Air Commodore Krishan Yahampath graced the occasion as the chief guest.
