The Annual Commemoration Hindu Religious Ceremony was held at the Ponnampalawaneswarar hindu kovil, kotahena on 16August 2010.

During the ceremony all SLAF personnel who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty and their  grieving families were remembered and blessed. Blessings on the Leaders and People of the country, the three service commanders, all Officers and other ranks presently serving, all establishments and assets of SLAF too, were invoked during the ceremony.

Chief of Staff of the SLAF Air Vice Marshal P B Premachandra, the Board of Management, Officers and a cross section of other ranks representing all Bases, stations and all trades of SLAF attended the ceremony
