Sri Lanka Air Force  Men’s and Women's Teams emerged as Runners Up at the 33rd Tharuna Sewa - Rupavahini Volleyball Championship held at the NYSC Maharagama on the 6th of September 2019. SLAF Men and Women took on SL Army and Navy respectively in the finals.

Director General of National Youth Services Council, Mr. Kanishka Suranimala Rajapaksha graced the occasion as Chief Guest and gave away the awards to the winners.
