The SLAF men's Basketball team defeated the Navy team in the first round match of the Defence Services 2010 Basketball tournament yesterday (19th Aug 2010) at the Police Park.

The final score was 86-83. Leading Air Craftman Osanda scored 24 points for Sri Lanka Air Force whilst Lieutenant AV Saundrarajah of Sri Lanka Navy recorded the top score of 32 points.

However due to the low average recorded by the Sri Lanka Air Force, they were eliminated from the finals.
