Certificate Awarding Ceremony of No. 9 DART Training Course

The Certificate Awarding Ceremony for the trainees of the No 9 Disaster Assistance and Response Team Course was held at the Disaster Management School, Sri Lanka Air Force Station, Mullaitivu Yesterday. (25 October 2019).
The Acting Commanding Officer of Sri Lanka Air Force Station Mullaitivu, Wing Commander RGJP Kotinkaduwa graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The Commanding Officer Disaster Management Training School, Squadron Leader PMB Madahapola, all Officers and Other Ranks of the Station were also present for the ceremony.
The five Day training programme focused on Metrological Paten and Act/ Disaster (Flood / Landslide / Tsunami / Plate tectonics / earthquake), DART Introduction / Disaster Management Plan / SOP (Practical), Coordinate with the Community in a Disaster Situation, Disaster Management Council And Disaster Management Centre, Fire Rescue, RSF (Out Door Exercise, Evacuation Plan /Camp Management - Practical) . Seven Officers and 23 Airmen received their Certificates at the occasion.
