A fourteen (14) day refresher course was concluded for Caterers and Ground Stewards at the Hospitality Management School of SLAF Station Sigiriya.  The programme was conducted from 26 February to 14 March 2020 aiming at the enhancing their practical experience. The traditional ‘Closing Address’ was held on 14 March 2020 and 37 service personnel from both trades participated for the training programme.
 

The training programme intended to enhance the documents handling and practical skills of the trainees. During the course the trainees participated in different practical sessions including bar operations, cocktail preparation, working on e-pass, theme nights and different menu preparation. The trainees also experienced a one day course visit to the Green Paradise Hotel, Habarana in adition to the theoretical knowledge gained at School.
