The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana made his first official call on the Secretary of Defence, Major General (Retd) Kamal Gunaratne this evening (4 November 2020) at the Ministry of Defence premises.

This visit signifies the Commander’s first official meeting with Major General (Retd) Gunaratne since assuming duties as the 18th Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force. During the ensuing cordial discussion, the Secretary of Defence conveyed his best wishes to Air Marshal Pathirana on his new appointment as the Commander of the Air Force.

The Secretary of Defence and the Commander exchanged mementos to mark this occasion.
