The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana made his first visit to the Sri Lanka Navy Headquarters this morning (09 November 2020) where he called on the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne.

The Commander was received with a Ceremonial Guard of Honour at Naval Headquarters. Thereafter, the visiting Air Chief was introduced to members of the Board of Management followed by a cordial discussion on matters of mutual interest, where the Commander of the Navy congratulated Air Marshal Pathirana on being appointed as the 18th Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force and gave his assurance of the fullest support by the Navy. In conclusion the two Commanders exchanged mementos to mark the occasion.
