The SLAF Station Piduruthalagala was established on 05th Jan 2010 and celebrated its 11th anniversary yesterday (05 January 2021) under the guidance of the Commanding Officer, Wing Commander Thushara Bandara.

The anniversary day began with the customary Working Parade, followed by a “Shramadana Campaign” around Gregory Lake in Nuwara-Eliya. The day’s proceedings were concluded with an All Ranks Lunch at the Airmens’ and Airwomens’ Mess.
