Seven Medals for Sri Lanka at he 53rd World Military Boxing Championship

Sri Lanka Armed Forces team bagged seven Bronze medals,being placed in seven out of the ten events participated at the 53rd World Military Boxing Championship 2010.
The team which consisted of Air Force, Army and Navy competed at the Championship which was held from 08 to 17 October 2010 at the Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, USA.
From the 10 boxers who competed in the tournament, the following pugilists bagged 07 Bronze medals, doing their motherland proud.
The medalist returned to the island early Wednesday morning and were given a warm welcome by Command Sports Officer of SLAF Group Captain Harsha Fernando.
