The change of command of SLAF Station Sigiriya took place yesterday (13 May 2021) at the Station premises. The Handing Over/ Taking Over Parade was conducted at the Station Parade Square where the Outgoing Commanding Officer, Group Captain SD Kalubowila XF handed over the command to Group Captain KMSPB Kulathunga RWP, USP, MSc (Def & Strat Stu), MSc (Strat Stu), fawc, psc.

The new Commanding Officer previously held the appointment of Staff Officer Foreign Missions at Air Force Headquarters before being appointed to command SLAF Station Sigiriya.
