The No 01 Land Based Air Defence Refresher Course for Officers of the Regiment Branch was successfully concluded yesterday (19 October 2021) at Air Defence Gunnery Training School (ADGTS) at SLAF Station Iranamadu under the patronage of the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Iranamadu, Group Captain DMR Dassanayake.

This first course saw six (6) Regiment Officers participating in the one week training program which was focused refresh and improve the knowledge of the participating Officers regarding the use of Air Defence weapons and equipment efficiently and effectively. This type of continuation training is vital to the National Air Defence System as it will bring back vital technical and operations skills required by Regiment Branch Officers who will be taking up duties in Air Defence roles.
