QUICK REACTION TEAM COURSE FOR FOREIGN PERSONNEL CONCLUDES AT MORAWEWA

The Regiment Special Forces Training School at SLAF Station Morawewa conducted the No 03 Quick Reaction Team Course for five (05) foreign trainees from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Maldives from 29 September 2021 to 19 October 2021.
Quick Reaction Team Course for foreigners has been designed to achieve professionalism with respect to Combat Tactics, Field Crafts, Land Navigations, Immediate Action Drills and Quick Reaction Force Training as well. Further, to enhance mutual knowledge on these aspects with Armed Forces of friendly foreign nations. Covered subjects were Section Battle Drills, Linkup Operations, Jungle Operations, Troop Leading Procedure, Combat Patrolling, Bunker Blasting and Advanced Firing Shoots. The training was conducted according to the health guidelines for the prevention of spreading COVID-19.
The Closing Ceremony and Certificate Awarding of said course conducted on 19 October 2021 with the participation of the Commanding Officer, SLAF Station Morawewa, Group Captain DSMLK Sugathadasa. The Commanding Officer of the Regiment Special Force, Wing Commander HAWP Hettiarachchi also participated for the event.
