The Command Welfare Shop celebrated its 01st anniversary today with the with a pirith chanting (19th November 2010) ceremoney at ‘Guwanpura’, SLAF Colombo.

This concept was initiated by the Commander of The Air Force and will be operated through three main hubs in order to uplift the welfare facilities of the service and civil personnel. Consumer commodities are gathered across the Island and distributed to all SLAF establishments at very nominal rates.

The Central coordinator Wing Commander PKDNS Pitigala and all staff of the Command Welfare shop participated.
