The Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Mr. Nikolai Patrushev on an invitation from the Ministry of Defence arrived in Sri Lanka yesterday morning (22 November 2021) on a three-day official visit. The visiting Secretary was warmly received by his Sri Lankan counterpart, Secretary to the Ministry of Defence in Sri Lanka, General Kamal Gunarathne (Rtd) together with Tri-Forces Commanders including Air Marshal Sudarshan Pathirana, the Commander of the Air Force

Mr. Patrushev will be making courtesy calls on the President, His Excellency Gotabaya Rajapaksa and also to hold discussions with General Gunarathne (Rtd), Secretary Defence of Sri Lanka this afternoon (22).
