Inter Unit Volley Ball Tournament 2010

Sri Lanka Air force Special Operations Group Vanni and SLAF Station Diyatalawa won the mens and womens Championships at the inter unit volleyball tournament held from 08th to 19th November at the SLAF Base Katunayaka.
In the mens tournament, SLAF Academy Chinabay beat SLAF Base Ratmalana Tech Formation (16/25 - 25/22 - 25/16 - 25/20) whilst in the second semi finals Special Operations Group Vanni defeated the Colombo team (25/23, 24/26, 21/25, 25/23, 15/10) to qualify for the finals.
In the finals the Vanni team convincingly defeated China bay Academy team (21/25, 18/25, 25/16, 25/23, 15/10) to emerge Champions.
In the womens tournament, SLAF Base Katunayaka Regiment team beat SLAF Base Ratmalana (23/25 , 25/16, 25/18 , 25/20) whilst in the second semi final Diyatalawa team beat Base Katunayaka team (25/22, 09/25, 27/25, 25/21) to qualify for the finals.
In the womens finals the Diyatalawa team defeated Katunayake Regiment Wing (25/11, 24/26 , 25/22 ,25/11)to clinch the Champions trophy.
