SLAF Culinary Experts Sharpen Their Skills

No: 2 Flight Kitchen and Culinary Training Course conducted for Mess Stewards and Caterers drew to successfully closure this week at the Sri Lankan Catering Services.
Held from 29 November, 2010 to 13th December 2010, this course was organized by SLAF Unit BIA with the guidance of Air Force Headquarters. The closing ceremony was held under the patronage of Sri Lankan Catering Chief Executive Officer Mr. Sarath Fernando and the Commanding Officer of SLAF Unit BIA Group Captain WWPD Fernando.
The culinary experts of Sri Lankan conducted the comprehensive programme for the SLAF personnel in their role as production managers. As per the course curriculum the participants were educated on subjects such as Hot Kitchen, Cold Kitchen, Bakery, Confectionery, Finger Foods, Food Safety, and Food Hygiene.
This creditable course was conducted by Sri Lankan Catering Services as a mark of the cordial relationship it maintains with SLAF.
