SLAF Base Anuradhapura conducted a blood donation campaign on 20th and 21st of July 2022 at Base hospital premises, under the guidance of the Base Commander SLAF Base Anuradhapura, Air Commodore JMDRAP Jayamaha, upon a request made by the Cluster Blood Bank Teaching Hospital Anuradhapura.

The campaign was conducted to replenish the blood products at Cluster Blood Bank, since there is a shortage of many blood products due to lack of mobile blood donation campaigns. Serving personnel including civilian staff of the SLAF Base Anuradhapura voluntarily participated for the event.
