The Inter Unit Basketball Championship 2022 was held at Air Force Health Management Center Thummulla from 24 September 2022 to 30 September 2022. The Chief of Staff of Sri Lanka Air Force Air Vice Marshal RAUP Rajapaksa graced the finals and Awarding Ceremony as the Chief Guest.

The overall Women’s Championship was clinched by SLAF Academy China Bay whilst SLAF Trade Training School Ekala emerged as the Runners-up. SLAF Academy China Bay emerged as the Champion in the Men’s category whilst the SLAF Combat Training School Diyatalawa concluded the tournament as the Runners-up.

Chairman SLAF Basketball, Air Vice Marshal TADR Senanayake, Members of the Air Force Sports Council, Senior Officers and invitees attended to witness finals.
