COMMANDER OF THE AIR FORCE ADDRESSES THE DSC&SC

The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana addressed the officers of Course No. 16 of the Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSC&SC) at Sapugaskanda today (21 November 2022).
The Commandant of the Defence Services Command and Staff College, Major General Lasantha Rodrigo received the Commander on his arrival at the College and conducted him to the Maroon Hall. Thereafter, the Commandant made an introductory note on Air Marshal Pathirana before handing over proceedings for the Commander’s Address.
In addition to the course participants, faculty members and the permanent staff of the College were also present during the address.
The mementoes were exchanged at the end of the session between the Commander of the Air Force and the Commandant of the Defence Services Command and Staff College to denote the occasion. Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana endorsed his greetings in the Visitors’ Book marking his visit to the prestigious Defence Services Command and Staff College.
After all the proceedings, Commander unveiled the airframe of the donated MI-24 Attack Helicopter, which stands on the College premises.
