The Chief of Naval Staff of the Pakistan Navy, Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi called on the Commander of Air force, Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana this morning (27 February 2023).

Admiral Muhammad Amjad was received by the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Colombo, Air Commodore Suresh Fernando and the Guard of Honour was conferred by the No. 43 Colour Wing of the SLAF.

Official plaques were exchanged between the two Chiefs at the Commander’s Office after which Admiral Muhammad Amjad met with the Deputy Chief of Staff and the Board of Management of the SLAF.  

Following the formalities, Air Marshal Pathirana and Admiral Muhammad Amjad discussed bilateral matters of mutual interest, including strengthening defence cooperation and enhancing training opportunities.
