The 12th Defence Services Motor Racing Championship 2023 was held on 17 March 2023 at the SL Navy Motor Cross Track - Welisara. The finals and award ceremony were held at the same venue. The Director General of Ground Operation, Air Vice Marshal Waruna Gunawardhana, graced the occasion as the chief guest.

The championship consisted of five events and eighteen riders from Tri Forces participated in the event.

The SLAF Motor Racing team secured runner-up at the event, scoring a total of 126 points out of five events. Sergeant Jayampathi Dissanayake won the bronze medal in the Standard Modified 250CC event.

The event was attended by Chairman SLAF Motor Racing, Air Vice Marshal Nihal Jayasinghe and senior officers from the tri-services.
