Sri Lanka Air Force Tennis team emerged runner-up in the Defence Services Tennis Championship 2023. The championship was conducted from 24th to 28th April 2023 at Narahenpita Army Tennis Courts.

The finals and the Awarding Ceremony of the Defence Services Tennis Championship 2023 were concluded on 28 April 2023 at the same venue, and Sri Lanka Army Tennis Team won the  events Championship.

In addition to the team events open and veteran matches were also conducted.

Director General Civil Engineering, Air Vice Marshal Udula Wijesinghe graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and Chief of the Staff of Sri Lanka Air Force Air Vice Marshal Udeni Rajapaksa also participated in the occasion and represented the SLAF as a veteran player.

Champion - Over 45 (Single) - Group Captain Samantha Weerasekara

Runner up - Veteran (Doubles) - AVM Udeni Rajapaksa & Group Captain Samantha Weerasekara

Runner up - Veteran (Single) - Group Captain Samantha Weerasekara

Runner up - Open (Single) - Aircraftman Ashen De Silva.
