The National Beach Volleyball Championship 2023 took place at Negombo Beach Park from 19 May to 21 May 2023. In an exhilarating final, the SLAF Women's Beach Volleyball team emerged victorious by defeating the Sri Lanka Navy team with a convincing score of 2 sets to 0, with set scores of 21-06 and 21-11. Similarly, the SLAF Men's team showcased the exceptional skills, securing a well-deserved victory over the Sri Lanka Army team with a score of 2 sets to 0, with set scores of 21-19 and 21-17.

Notably, both the SLAF men's and women's teams claimed the title of National Champions after a remarkable six-year interval. The SLAF Men's Beach Volleyball team was represented by Leading Aircraftman Silva WMD and Leading Aircraftman Senarathne RPDC, who displayed remarkable athleticism and teamwork throughout the tournament. Similarly, the SLAF Women's team was comprised of Leading Aircraftman Prashadini JHD and Leading Aircraftman Thushari JWP, who demonstrated exceptional prowess and determination on the court. The members for both teams are comprised of individuals who possess amateur status and have not previously represented the National team.
 
The triumph of the SLAF men's and women's teams in the National Beach Volleyball Championship 2023 not only signifies their individual achievements but also showcases the collective strength and dedication of the Sri Lanka Air Force in nurturing and promoting talent in the realm of beach volleyball.
