The SLAF Women's Hockey “A” team emerged as runners-up in the 22nd “Nijabima Satana” all-island inter-club 7-a side hockey tournament, which was organized by the past pupils association of Vijaya Collage- Matale on 15 October 2023 at Edward Park Matale.

The Air Force Women's Hockey team defeated the Army hockey team in the semifinals to reach the finals. In the finals, they lost to the Navy team.

In addition to the team achievement, SLAF player Leading Aircraftwoman Siriwardana MC was also awarded the "Best Goalkeeper of the Tournament" award.
