SLAF TAKES ANOTHER STEP IN COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS

The Community Service Project was successfully concluded yesterday (04 November 2023), at Ananda Balika National School in Polonnaruwa, led and closely supervised by Base Commander SLAF Base Hingurakgoda, Group Captain PDSS Gunawardane.
The project involved the renovation of the 71-year-old Sugala Devi Hall and the transformation of an old classroom building into the main administrative building. This project commenced on 23 August 2023, and was completed within 10 weeks. It was subsequently handed over to the students by the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Udeni Rajapaksa
The logistical support for the project was jointly provided by the school teachers, parents of the students and SLAF Base Hingurakgoda.
