The Inter unit Basketball Championship-2023 was held at Air Force Health Management Center Thummulla from 30 October 2023 to 06 November 2023. The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Udeni Rajapaksa graced the finals and awarding ceremony as the Chief Guest.

The overall Women’s Championship was clinched by SLAF Academy China Bay whilst SLAF Base Ratmalana emerged as the Runners-up. The Technical formations of the SLAF Base Katunayake emerged as the Champions in the Men’s category whilst the SLAF Base Hingurakgoda concluded the tournament as the Runner – up.

Chief of Staff, Members of the Air Force Board of Management, Chairman Basketball, Air Commodore Amal Perera, Members of the Air Force Sports Council, Senior Officers and invitees attended the occasion.
