The change of command of SLAF Station Colombo was held yesterday (24 November 2023) at the Station premises. The handing over/ taking over parade was conducted at the Station where the outgoing Commanding Officer, Air Vice Marshal C Wickramaratne RWP, USP, MDS, MA (Sec Stu-USA), ndc (Pak), psc handed over the command to Air Commodore HWR Chandima RWP, RSP, USP, MSc (Mgt), ndc.

The outgoing Commanding Officer, Air Vice Marshal Chaminda Wickramaratne will take over the appointment of acting Director General Ground Operations subsequently at Air Force Headquarters.
