SLAF Station Ampara celebrated its 34th Anniversary today (25 November 2023). The formation day celebration commenced with the parade and address by the Commanding Officer, Group Captain Lalith Sugathadasa to all officers, airmen and civil staff of the Station.

In line with the anniversary celebration, a blood donation campaign was organized on 23 November 2023 and all the personnel contributed to the meritorious act. Further, the Sharamadana campaign at Aranthalava temple and Samangala Aranya Senasanaya were conducted.

The anniversary celebrations concluded with a cricket tournament with the participation of all service personnel, civil staff and trainees at the Station's sports ground.
