SLAF Women's team claimed top honours at the Munchee Super League Volleyball Championship 2023 at National Youth Services Council Indoor Stadium Maharagama held on 24 December 2023. A total of 07 women’s teams participated in this tournament which was conducted by the Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation (SLVF).

In a strong display of skill and proficiency, the SLAF team emerged victorious in all three sets against the SL Army, with scores of 25-21, 25-18 and 25-17. Their strategic prowess and tricky gameplay dominated the National finals.

Leading Aircraftwoman Thushari JWP was awarded as the Most Valuable Player, contributing significantly to the team's success. The leadership of Chairman SLAF Volleyball, Air Commodore Padman De Costa, Secretary SLAF Volleyball, Group Captain Chrishantha Fernando, Coach Mr. Samansiri Senevirathne and Assistant Coach, Corporal Jayakody, played a vital role in the team's victory.

Special guests, Minister of State for Plantation Enterprises Reforms and State Minister of Finance, Hon. Ranjith Siyambalapitiya and President of the Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation, Hon. Kanchana Jayarathne, graced the occasion and presented the awards, adding prestige to the event.
