A successful Counseling programme for Lady Officers and Airwomen was held on 09 February 2024, at the Airmen and Airwomen Social Club at SLAF Trade Training School Ekala. This informative awareness session was organized under the guidance of the Commanding Officer of SLAF TTS Ekala, Air Commodore Uditha Piyasena. President of Seva Vanitha Unit at SLAF TTS, Ekala, Squadron Leader Prasanthika Gayani De Mel (Retd) participated in the event along with the Lady Officers and Airwomen of the Trade Training School.

The programme was conducted by Wing Commander AHS Premarathna (Clinical Psychologist and Counselor) as an informative session. The primary goal of the program was to offer practical strategies and resources for managing challenges commonly encountered by female personnel in the SLAF. They were also provided with a comprehensive understanding of various aspects of their professional journey, imparting valuable insights along the way. In addition, the event aimed to address emotional well-being, work-life balance and offered a platform for open discussions.
