The Inter Unit Tug of War Championship 2024 was held on 20 and 21 March 2024, at SLAF Base Katunayake. The awarding ceremony took place at the Hospital Sports Ground in Katunayake on 23 March 2024 with the gracious presence of the Director General Welfare, Air Vice Marshal PSN Fernando, as the Chief Guest.

The Men’s Championship was clinched by 26 Regt Wing SLAF Base Katunayake, while the Women’s Championship was secured by SLAF Base Anuradhapura. Despite this, SLAF Station Colombo and 26 Regt Wing SLAF Base Katunayake gained runners-up in the Men’s and Women’s categories, respectively.

The Chairman SLAF Tug of War, Air Vice Marshal KC Geethapriya, Base Commander SLAF Base Katunayake, Air Vice Marshal SDGM Silva, Director Sports, Air Commodore WASB Weerasekara, Members of the Air Force Sports Council, senior officers, officers and other ranks also participated to witness the Finals and Award Ceremony.
