The women’s volleyball team of the Sri Lanka Air Force has qualified for the finals of the National Super League Volleyball Championship to be held on 07 May 2011 at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium, Colombo. The SLAF men’s team, who were the favorites to win the Championship, had to be content with the fourth place.   

On the way to the finals SLAF ladies beat Sri Lanka Police, Sri Lanka Navy and the Sri Lanka Ports Authority teams.SLAF team will meet the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment team at the finals which will get underway at 1300 hrs.

The entire final will be aired through ITN channel from 1300 hrs onwards.
