A house constructed under the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit was handed over to family of Corporal Dhammika IGN (Deceased) yesterday (29 September 2024) and the house warming ceremony was held at Delgahahena, Weligama. The Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Enoka Rajapaksa, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit funded this project, while the construction work was undertaken by the dedicated staff of the Civil Engineering Wing at SLAF Base Katunayake. This project was executed under the guidance of the Director General Construction Engineering, Air Vice Marshal Chandana Geethapriya and supervised by the Acting Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Koggala, Wing Commander Chanaka Manawadu.

The event was attended by the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Koggala, the staff of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit and a cross-section of officers and other rankers of SLAF Station Koggala.
