SLAF Caterers Complete Culinary Training
No: 4 Flight Kitchen and Culinary Training Course conducted for Mess
Stewards and Caterers drew to a successfull closure this week at the Sri
Lankan Catering Services.
Held from 11th
June 2011 to 04th July 2011, this course was organized by SLAF Unit BIA
with the guidance of Air Force Headquarters. The closing ceremony was
held under the patronage of Sri Lankan Catering Chief Executive Officer
Chief Executive Officer Mr. Sarath Fernando and the Commanding Officer
of SLAF Unit BIA Gp Capt WWPD Fernando
The
Production Manager Mr. Pande and Executive Chef Mr. Anthony conducted
the programme for the SLAF personnel. As per the course curriculum the
SLAF participants were educated on subjects such as Hot Kitchen, Cold
Kitchen, bakery, Confectionary, Finger Food, Food safety and Food
Hygiene.
This valuable course has been
offered by the Sri Lankan Catering Service to mark its cordial
relationship with the SLAF.
