The mighty Rathnam SC, one of the best teams in the game of soccer were beaten by the Air Force team 01nil, this evening(26 September 2009), in one of the Dialog Champion league matches played at the City Football League ground Colombo.

Leading Air Craft man Chaminda managed to score the only goal in the match just few minutes after the kick off, which subsequently went on to be the winning goal for the Airman. Ever since then the Airman managed to prevent their strong opponents from scoring through the defences
