The 3rd formation day of No 1 L&R Wing was commemorated by launching a blood donation campaign on 4 December 2014 under the patronage of the Commandant of the SLAF Academy China Bay and the CO and staff of No 1 L&R Wing.   The campaign saw the participation of 129 personnel including officers and Airmen and was carried out in collaboration with the General Hospital Trincomalee.
