The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Kolitha Gunatilleke declared open the “Chipmunk Cottages” at Nuwara Eliya with three luxury cottages including a separate dining facility on 04th April 2015. On the directive of the Commander of the Air Force, this project was completed within a very short period under the supervision of Directorate of Civil Engineering in order to fulfill the vision of the Commander to provide more welfare facilities to airmen.
