Graduation Ceremony of No 57 Junior Command and Staff Course
The Graduation Ceremony of No 57 Junior Commanders Course was held at the Astra Hall at Sri Lanka Air Force Academy China Bay on the 3rd August 2018.
Director Administration of Sri Lanka Air Force, Air Vice Marshal PDKT Jayasinghe graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest. The Defence Attaché of Bangladesh, Deputy Defence Attaché of USA and Senior Officers from Sri Lanka Navy and Sri Lanka Air Force participated in the event as distinguished guests.
The ceremony marked the end of the 14-week course attended by a total of 31 Officers in the ranks of Squadron Leader and Flight Lieutenant. 23 officers from the Sri Lanka Air Force, 02 officers from the Sri Lanka Army in the rank of Major and Captain, 02 officers from the Sri Lanka Navy in the rank of Lieutenant and one officer each from the Bangladesh Air Force , Pakistan Air Force, Indian Air Force and from United States Air Force.
The Junior Commanders Course is accredited to the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University and the Officers who fulfil the required criteria will be conferred with a Post Graduate Diploma in Defence Management.
