OPENING ADDRESS OF NO 74 JUNIOR COMMAND & STAFF COURSE
The No. 74 Junior Command and Staff Course commenced yesterday (28 August 2023) at the Junior Command and Staff College, SLAF Academy, China Bay. The Opening Address was delivered by the Chief Instructor, Wing Commander Jinendra Ranasinghe as well as the other faculty members including the Senior Instructor and Directing Staff to the student officers regarding the main aspect of the course programme.
A total of 22 Sri Lanka Air Force Officers in the rank of Squadron Leader and Flight Lieutenant, 02 Officers from the Sri Lanka Navy in the rank of Lieutenant Commander and 01 Zambian Officer in the rank of Major are following the Staff course for a duration of 15 weeks. Student officers commenced their course programme with the introduction of the Public Speaking module.
