SUCCESSFUL GRADUATION MARKS CULMINATION OF NO. 74 JUNIOR COMMAND AND STAFF COURSE AT SLAF ACADEMY CHINA BAY
The Graduation Ceremony of the No. 74 Junior Command and Staff Course was held yesterday (12 December 2023) at the Junior Command and Staff College Auditorium at the SLAF Academy China Bay. Air Vice Marshal Muditha Mahawattage, the Director General Aeronautical Engineering, honoured the occasion as the Chief Guest and the ceremony also had the presence of the Director General Training, Air Vice Marshal Lasitha Sumanaweera as the guest of honour.
The ceremony marked the end of a 14-week-long course attended by a total of 23 Officers out of which 20 Officers were from the SLAF in the rank of Squadron Leader and Flight Lieutenant, two Officers from the Sri Lanka Navy and one Officer from Zambian Air Force.

The Junior Command and Staff College is accredited to the General Sir John Kotalawala Defence University and the Officers who fulfill the required criteria will be offered a Post Graduate Diploma in Defence Management.
