GRADUATION CEREMONY OF NO. 78 JUNIOR COMMAND AND STAFF COURSE CONCLUDES AT SLAF ACADEMY CHINA BAY
The Graduation Ceremony of the No. 78 Junior Command and Staff Course was held today (07 April 2025) at the auditorium of the Junior Command and Staff College, SLAF Academy China Bay. The event marked the successful conclusion of a comprehensive 14 weeks academic programme, attended by 26 Officers from the Sri Lanka Air Force and two Officers from the Sri Lanka Navy.
The Director General Air Operations, Air Vice Marshal SDGM Silva graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest. Notably, he served as the Commanding Officer of the Junior Command and Staff College from 17 January 2017 to 23 February 2020.
In his address to the graduates, Air Vice Marshal Silva highlighted the importance of continuous professional growth and the pursuit of excellence in military leadership. He encouraged the Officers to embody the highest principles of integrity, professionalism and service in their future appointments. He further commended the graduates for their dedication, perseverance and successful completion of the challenging course and extended his sincere congratulations on their achievement.
