No 41 Junior Commanders Course and Graduation Ceremony
The Graduation Ceremony of the No. 41 Junior
Commanders’ Course was held at the Junior Command and Staff College
auditorium at SLAF Academy China Bay on 5 April 2013. The Director
Electronics & Telecomunication Engineering of the Sri Lanka Air
Force, Air Vice Marshal RJ Pathirage graced the occasion as the Chief
Guest.
A total of 30 officers
including 21 from the Air Force, 05 officers from the Army and 04
officers from the Navy followed and graduated from this course
successfully. Senior officers from the Sri Lanka Army and the Sri Lanka
Navy establishments in Trincomalee area, the Commandant of SLAF Academy
China Bay Air Commodore SK Pathirana and the Commanding Officer of the
Junior Command and Staff College Air Commodore JP Wanigathunga were also
present at the graduation.
The Mess Night of the course was
held on 3 April 2013 and subsequent to the Graduation Ceremony was the
Graduation Ball held on the evening of 5 April 2103. The following Officers received special awards at the Graduation Ceremony.
