No. 57 Junior Command and Staff Course Commences
No. 57 Junior Commanders’ Course commenced on 24th April 2018 at the
Junior Command and Staff College (JC&SC), Sri Lanka Air Force
Academy, China Bay. The Opening Address was conducted by the Commandant
of the SLAF academy China Bay. This was followed by the Commanding
Officer’s Address. The Chief Instructor and Senior Instructor also
briefed the Student Officers about important aspects of the course.
A total of 23 Sri Lanka Air Force Officers, 02 Officers each from Sri Lanka Army and Navy, 01 officer each from Bangladesh Air Force, Indian Air Force, Pakistan Air Force and United States Air Force are following the course for a duration of 15 weeks (23 April 2018 to 03 August 2018). This is the first occasion that Air Force Officers from Pakistan and United States of America are following the course at JC&SC.
