Annual AOC's Inspection at SLAF Unit Morawewa

The Commander of the Air Force,
Air Marshal Harsha Abeywickrama, conducted the AOCs Inspection at SLAF
Unit Morawewa on 05 July 2012.
The Commander, upon arrival for the inspection, was received into the camp premises by the Commanding Officer Wing Commander HWR Chandima through a street lining of airmen commanded by Flight Lieutenant BWCS Bandara.
One Warrant Officer, three Senior Non-commissioned Officers and one Junior Non Commissioned Officer were commended by the Commander for their meritorious contributions to the Unit in particular and to the Air Force in general.
During the inspection, the Commander appreciated the completion of renovation works of the Officers mess within a very short span of time and declared open the Officers mess bar in which accomplished by utilizing available resources in an attractive manner.
On conclusion of the inspection, the Commander addressed the Officers and men of the Unit and while praising the commendable job they had done he encouraged them to set and reach even higher goals.
