Change of Command at No 3 Air Defence Radar Squadron Weerawila
The Change of Command Parade at the No. 3 Air Defence Radar Squadron Sri Lanka Air Force Station Weerawila was held today (8 January 2020).
The outgoing Commanding Officer, Wing Commander WGND Wewakumbura MSc (Def & Start Stu), MSc (Mgt), Pg Dip (Def Mgt), psc handed over duties to Group Captain PC Dissanayake RSP, USP, MSc (Def & Start Stu), psc. The ceremonial Handing over / Taking over Parade took place at the Squadron Parade Square.
The Outgoing Commanding Officer thanked all personnel of the Squadron for the support they extended to him during his tenure as the Commanding Officer.
