SLAF Diyatalawa welcomes (School) Air Cadets from Jaffna & Batticaloa

One thousand School Air Cadets from various parts of the island including Jaffna and Batticaloa participated at the Cadet Assessment Camp held at SLAF Station Diyatalawa on 07 February, 2011.
 
The camp comprised of cadets from over forty schools.  Participating at the camp for the first time were Air Cadets from Kokavil Hindu College, Jaffna and Muslim College, Batticaloa.
 
All participants were warmly welcomed by Commanding Officer, Group Captain Lanka Koddippilli and Officer Commanding for Training, Wing Commander Anuruddha Wijesiriwardana.  The SLAF Coordinator for National Cadet Corps, Squadron Leader Jinendra Ranasinghe was also present at the occasion to welcome the cadets.




Sri Lanka Air Force stands as the sole gallant aerial force in the nation, skillfully projecting airpower over its airspace and supporting the operations of surface entities.
