Sri Lanka Air Force Batticaloa organized a blood donation campaign with the able assistance of the ‘Blood bank, of the Teaching Hospital at Batticaloa on 8th August 2011 at the camp premises.
 
Over 50 service personnel donated blood willingly which will be benefited to many patients suffering from various ailments who are admitted to the teaching hospital at Batticaloa. This campaign was part of the Camps social responsibilities program for the year.
