The Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2025 of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit was held today (19 September 2025) at Air Force Headquarters.

The Japan - Lanka Friendship Association, with the generous support of Dr. Eranga Thilakarathne and other members of the delegation, handed over 100 units of spectacles to the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit and Fire Vehicle Spare Parts to the SLAF Fire and Rescue Service today (18 September 2025) at Air Force Headquarters Seva Vanitha Unit. 

The felicitation of special achievements in the Grade 05 scholarship, G.C.E Ordinary Level Examination and G.C.E Advanced Level examinations were held today (16 September 2025), at the Air Force Headquarters. The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, along with the Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Krishanthi Edirisinghe.

The Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Krishanthi Edirisinghe, together with the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Bandaranaike International Airport, Group Captain Nilindra Perera, and the President of the Station’s Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Hansika Perera, participated in a musical instruments handing-over ceremony held yesterday (15 September 2025) at Walana Lakshmi Junior School, Katunayake.

A house constructed under the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit was handed over to the family of Squadron Leader RD Sooriyarachchi (Deceased) today (10 September 2025) and the housewarming ceremony was held at Maithri Road, Ingiriya. The Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Krishanthi Edirisinghe, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
